As someone who’s spent years both in front of and behind the camera, I’ve developed an intimate understanding of beauty. Early in my career as a model and actress, I often found myself perfecting the makeup of other talent on set. Today, I continue my work alongside Hollywood’s elite—like the stunning Leah Remini or Joanna Krupa—and take pride in my many acting roles. Now, I’m delighted to share my curated fall beauty tips with you, blending elegance with expertise.

Here’s my personal guide to embracing beauty this fall:
1. UPGRADE YOUR MOISTURIZER
If there’s one thing I can never emphasize enough, it’s the importance of deeply hydrating skincare. As the seasons change, so should your moisturizer. Fall is the ideal moment to transition to a richer, more opulent formula. While summer calls for lightweight hydration, the cooler months demand something more indulgent—something that envelops your skin, locking in moisture for a supple, luminous glow that lasts. Allow your skin the time to adjust before the true winter chill sets in.
2. SKIP THE PRIMER
Makeup primers, though useful in extending wear time, are often laden with silicone or other drying agents. In the cooler months, we no longer need to worry about our makeup melting away under the heat. So, unless you’re preparing for a glamorous evening of dancing, I recommend putting away the primer and letting your skin breathe a little more freely.

3. NOURISH FROM WITHIN
As autumn settles in, we often turn to hearty comfort foods that warm our souls. But bear in mind that many of these dishes, though delicious, can lack the hydration your skin craves. As the cool air draws moisture from your complexion, it becomes essential to nourish yourself from within. Continue indulging in fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables—they’re the key to maintaining that enviable, dewy radiance. Your skin’s glow starts with what you feed it.
4. EMBRACE CREAM-BASED MAKEUP
As the temperatures drop, powder products, especially those containing talc, can be overly drying on the skin. This is why I recommend gravitating towards luxurious cream-based formulas. Opt for cream blushes and foundations that glide effortlessly onto the skin, creating a radiant, luminous finish that enhances your natural beauty, even in the crisp autumn air. There’s something undeniably chic about glowing skin in the cooler months.
5. REVERSE THE FALL HAIR COLOR TREND
Every year, we hear the same advice—darken your hair for fall and winter, then lighten it in the summer. I respectfully disagree. The vibrant summer sun already brightens your hair naturally, and if your hair is too light, you risk looking washed out. Plus, the sun’s harsh rays can dry out your hair, especially if it’s been lightened.

Instead, I suggest darkening your hair for summer, allowing the sun to work its magic. Then, as the days grow darker, embrace a lighter version of your favorite hair color. The muted fall and winter tones will soften it just enough, allowing you to bring a touch of radiant brightness into your life. After all, your hair should lift your spirits as much as it complements your look.
Above all, whatever choices you make, remember: always radiate your inner glow.
