Summer-Inspired Hair Colors That Will Make You Look Like a Goddess

Summer is here, and I don’t know about you, but for me, that’s reason enough to change my hair color. I love to switch up my hair hue around twice a year, once in the summer, and then again in the winter. And the vibe I’m going for each summer is something that just gives off sunkissed, beachy vibes. However, why not go a bit further this time, and experiment with something truly unique? If you’re feeling a bit adventurous like I am, here are some of the best summer-inspired hair colors that I have found on Instagram.

Sunset Copper

Hear me out, copper tones aren’t something that particularly suits me, HOWEVER — I would totally be willing to risk it all with this sunset copper color. Red tones have been all the rage lately in the hair world, and this is another gorgeous variation of this trend. But what makes this color particularly great is the fact that it also features a blended root, which means that you won’t have to touch it up all summer long. So, if you’re a fellow lazy girl, especially when it comes to hair, then this could be a great option.

Sunkissed Bronde

Have you noticed how a lot of people are giving up on that fully blonde look? Even though I absolutely love seeing blonde hair on others, I can totally understand that it would be a lot of effort to maintain. However, that’s where bronde colors come into play. Just as the name suggests, this is a harmonious mixture of blonde and brown colors, with lighter and chunkier highlights at the lower part of the hair. This means that your locks will look naturally sunkissed, and you won’t have to worry about dying your roots every couple of weeks.

Coconut Hair

Who says that you can’t give black hair a summery touch? This coconut-inspired hair color is the perfect proof that you can. All you need is a little bit of bleach, creativity, and the talented hands of your trusted hairdresser. What makes this color so special is that the blond highlights don’t interfere with the glossy black finish of the hair, particularly thanks to the fact that they are placed in the lower part of the hair, with the roots still being completely dark. This way, your hair will get even more gorgeous once it starts to grow out.

Watermelon Pop

You just knew that I also had to include a bright and vibrant color in today’s mix! And what says summer more than a watermelon pop color? Now, I’ll have to warn you — while most of the previous ones were pretty low maintenance, this one certainly isn’t. So, only choose this if you’re someone who is comfortable with regular salon visits. However — this gorgeous pop of color will certainly be worth the hassle. And if you already have light or bleached hair, you could achieve a similar effect even with semi-permanent dye!
